Ultra Thin Feather Finish Compound | Fast Drying Flexible Skim Coat for Smooth Surface Leveling
LANGUAN-PP is a single-component, ultra-fine dry powder skim coat blended with special cement, superfine fillers, and polymer functional additives. Mix with water only to form a silky-smooth slurry and apply in ultra-thin layers of 0–3 mm. It sets initially within 30 minutes, allows light foot traffic in 2–3 hours, and is suitable for repairing pinholes, gaps, cracks, and feather-edge transitions on premium vinyl, rubber, and epoxy floor substrates.
LANGUAN-PP’s superfine powder enables ultra-thin skim coating in the range of 0–3 mm to repair small pinholes, voids, and joint gaps on cementitious and self-levelling base screeds. It prevents the formation of thick, uneven layers while delivering effective feather-edge blending. This ensures seamless, smooth transitions at wall–floor junctions and across height differences, eliminating visible lines prior to vinyl and epoxy floor installation for a flawless finished floor.
Initial set is available in just 30 minutes, with light foot traffic achievable within 2–3 hours. This significantly reduces waiting time between repair and subsequent floor-covering works. With a reference 28-day compressive strength of 28 MPa and a reference bonding strength of 2.0 MPa, the thin repair layer remains permanently integrated with the base screed, without peeling or hollowing under day-to-day foot traffic.
Mix using the fixed water proportion. The prepared slurry must be fully used within 15–20 minutes; do not add extra water. Apply with a steel trowel in thin, uniform coats, then allow it to cure naturally away from direct sunlight and drafts caused by cross ventilation. Compact packaging and easy manual trowelling make it an ideal touch-up material for small-area repair and floor finishing in both residential and commercial projects, including by floor contractors.
