K31 EPS particle self-leveling concrete is a lightweight thermal and acoustic insulation screed compound made with special sulphoaluminate cement, recycled closed-cell EPS foam particles, and multifunction additives. K31 weighs half as much as standard concrete, helping overcome weight limitations for loft mezzanines and renovation projects in older buildings. Its closed-cell EPS particle matrix provides ultra-low thermal conductivity and acts as integrated insulation for underfloor heating and roof-slope build-ups. This eliminates the need for separate insulation board installation and reduces thermal-bridge gaps. The self-levelling flow delivers an ultra-smooth finish without manual trowelling. Insulation, slope formation and base levelling are combined in a single pour to simplify construction workflows.
Unlike spliced rigid foam boards, which can create heat-leakage gaps, K31 forms a fully continuous monolithic layer to maximise energy efficiency. Its porous lightweight structure performs exceptionally well in absorbing impact noise from footfall, making it suitable for apartments, offices and stadiums. K31 is designed to meet Class A non-combustible fire standards and is produced using recycled EPS raw materials, supporting green building requirements for residential, commercial, cold storage and industrial ground insulation applications.
K31 supports full mechanical pumping, with daily output exceeding 1000 square metres. This significantly reduces labour input and shortens construction cycles. After pouring, no vibration or manual screeding is required, as the slurry self-compacts and naturally levels. It can be used for indoor heating beds, roof-slope insulation, underground pipeline backfill and light mezzanine filling.
