DN-DK FireShield is a thick inorganic, non-intumescent fire coating that fully complies with GB 14907-2018 Type H. Made with inorganic binders, vermiculite and perlite thermal aggregates, it forms a rigid, low-thermal-conductivity fire barrier without foaming and provides up to 3 hours of fire resistance; it is asbestos-free and non-toxic. Engineered for heavy steel structures in extreme corrosive and outdoor harsh environments.
DN-DK FireShield complies with the national GB 14907-2018 Type H standard. It uses inorganic thermal aggregates to form a rigid, low-heat-conductivity barrier with a thermal conductivity ≤0.10 W/m·K. The system provides up to 3 hours of reliable fire resistance at a 25–35 mm film thickness, effectively blocking high heat transfer and helping prevent steel structural failure during fires. With ≥0.04 MPa strong bonding performance, it resists long-term vibration, water, acids, alkalis and thermal cycling without cracking, peeling or blistering, delivering permanent, stable fire protection for heavy-duty load-bearing steel components.
Unlike thin decorative fire coatings, DN-DK is designed specifically for outdoor, underground and highly corrosive industrial applications, including petrochemical plants, offshore platforms, tunnels and exterior stadium steel frames. Its inorganic formulation provides outstanding weather and chemical resistance to withstand constant humidity, temperature fluctuations and chemical splashes year-round. The asbestos-free, non-toxic composition supports safe installation in enclosed underground and factory spaces, helping to avoid harmful fumes or contaminants.
DN-DK has a lightweight dry density ≤600 kg/m³, reducing total material usage and project costs. It supports spray application of up to 10 mm per single layer, with a 6–8 hour interval between coats to accelerate thickness build-up. The coating performs reliably on both exposed outdoor steel and concealed ceiling-wrapped structural frames, covering high-rise columns, bridge supports and factory trusses with a single universal coating. Long service life and minimal maintenance after installation further reduce total lifecycle expenditure for large industrial, transit and commercial steel construction projects.
